Actress Adunni Ade loses mother after long b@ttle with illness

Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has announced the d+eath of her mother, who passed away on Sunday, October 18, after a long battle with illness.

The actress shared the sad news on Monday, October 19, in an emotional statement accompanied by photographs of her late mother.

Expressing her grief and submission to the will of Allah, Adunni described her mother’s passing as a painful loss while praying for the peaceful repose of her soul.

“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.

“With a heavy heart and submission to the will of Almighty Allah, I announce the passing of my beloved mother, who returned to her Creator on October 18 after a long battle with illness,” she wrote.

The actress noted that her mother is survived by her children, grandchildren, sisters and other loved ones, who would continue to cherish her memory.

She also prayed for Allah’s forgiveness and mercy upon her late mother, asking that she be granted Al-Jannah Firdaus.

“Ya Allah, forgive her shortcomings, have mercy upon her, make her grave spacious and filled with light, and grant her Al-Jannah Firdaus. Grant us sabr and strength as we navigate this painful loss. Ameen,” she added.

Adunni further disclosed that details of the funeral arrangements would be communicated in due course.

Concluding her tribute, the actress expressed her love for her mother and prayed for eternal peace for her soul, as well as a reunion with her in Jannah.
